There are no designs or floor plans that one must build.  Building on your lot, with some restrictions as stated in the Association documents, is pretty much like building on any private lot.  These plans are simply examples.   They are included to show one of many types of homes that one could build.  Duplex-type homes can only be built on Lots 7, 8 or 9. Where there may be any discrepancy in materials, roof pitch, etc., the Association Documents will govern.  The FAQ also answers many of the questions that relates to materials.
